Why do people set their item starting bids at 1 cent on Ebay?
do they also get some of the shipping costs money when the item is sold too? I just had to ask because I don’t understand why so many people sell items like that since it seems very stupid.

Ebay charges sellers fees and they are set based on the opening bid requirement. One cent starting is the lowest fee.
The seller sets the shipping price and they get all of it. Then the seller pays for the shipping. So, they can earn money on shipping.
